Uzbekistan GTL LLC enters top-20 taxpayer companies in January 2023

According to official reports of the State Tax Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Uzbekistan GTL LLC was included in the list of top-20 taxpayer COMPANIES   of production sector in January 2023. In January 2023 the Company made tax payments of 63.3 billion UZS to the state budget  and ranked 7th among 20 enterprises.

Uzbekistan GTL Plant, built on the idea and initiative of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, and considered a foundation of the Third Renaissance of New Uzbekistan, for the first time in the history of Uzbekistan’s oil and gas and chemical industry, started production of synthetic diesel and naphtha on June 29, 2022.

Further on July 4, 2022 Uzbekistan GTL launched the first sales of synthetic diesel through stock trading of the Republican Commodity Exchange, and now it is  supplied to the native consumers on a regular basis.

For reference. GTL diesel, which is in exact accordance with  Euro-6 requirements, is the first synthetic fuel with excellent performance and environmental characteristics in Uzbekistan and the CIS countries.

In addition, Uzbekistan GTL Plant switched to full operation due to start-up of the second line of in November 2022. As a result, the finished products output scaled up significantly      and contributed to  product costs reduction.

Thanks to a 23,8% price reduction over the last 8 months  from June 2022 up to now, synthetic diesel, initially sold at  15.5 million UZS is now sold at 11.8 million UZS.

One of the key goals of Uzbekistan GTL Plant is to boost output and ensure supply of high-quality fuels to domestic consumers at low prices. It should be recognized that this is another big step towards fuel security of our republic, expected to be a huge incentive to foster all industries and produce high value-added products.

To recap, Uzbekistan GTL Plant annually processes 3.6 bcm.  of natural gas and produces 1.5 mln. tons of finished liquid products, including 307,000 tons of aviation kerosene, 724,000 tons of diesel, 437,000 tons of naphtha, and 53,000 tons of liquefied petroleum gas. The Plant is designed to produce import substituting high-quality oil products worth USD 1 billion or more than 12.8 trillion UZS a year.
