In accordance with Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dd. October 5, 2020 No. PF-6079 “On approval of the “Digital Uzbekistan - 2030” strategy and measures for its effective implementation”, Uzbekneftegaz JSC implements priority tasks of digitalization in order to introduce modern management methods and application of best practices in the company's business processes as part of transformation process.
In order to ensure implementation of this Decree, extend the life of process units and equipment, increase production efficiency and ensure uninterrupted and safe operation, at the initiative of Mekhriddin Abdullayev, the Chairman of the Board of Uzbekneftegaz JSC, Uzbekistan GTL Plant introduced the CMMS program - a computerized maintenance management system, for the first time in the history of Uzbekistan’s oil and gas and power industry.
The CMMS system accomplished full automation of a database of about 11,000 pieces of equipment and main production units of the Uzbekistan GTL Plant, maintenance and preventive maintenance planning, making repair requests, stocktaking record, purchase requests for components and materials and maintenance digitalization.
The CMMS system was developed for Uzbekistan GTL based on the specifics of business processes by Maintenance Experts Pty Ltd, a leading company in maintenance management systems in Australia, and adapted within the Company, taking into account national and international legal regulations. This program, thanks to its ease of use and efficiency, is also successfully used in various companies around the world.
The main purpose of implementing this software is to ensure the smooth operation of production processes for a long time by conducting regular preventive technical inspections during operation of process units and equipment, as well as minimizing human factor in maintenance planning.
This system automatically keeps track of spare parts, consumables and equipment that need to be replaced or used according to the maintenance schedule, as well as accounting of stock balances, purchase requests and other types of accounting. The system will result in lower cost of equipment repairs, scheduled works management and high performance of.
Database of units and equipment is stored on Uzbekistan GTL Company's servers which meet cybersecurity requirements.
At the initiative of the Chairman of the Board of Uzbekneftegaz JSC, Uzbekistan GTL Plant takes extensive efforts for digitalization and full automation of production and business processes.
