In order to ensure the implementation of the relevant resolutions and orders of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan on improving energy efficiency and reducing the dependence of economic sectors on fuel and energy products by attracting available resources, on behalf of Chairman of the Board of Uzbekneftegaz Mehriddin Abdullayev, systematic work is continuing to reduce energy consumption at oil and gas facilities and in administrative buildings.
Work in this direction is carried out within the framework of the program of organizational and technical measures of Uzbekneftegaz JSC for the modernization and reconstruction of production, the introduction of energy-saving equipment and renewable energy sources.
In accordance with the program, a solar photovoltaic plant with a capacity of 65 kW was launched in the building of the Uzbekistan GTL company in Tashkent.
This solar photovoltaic plant can produce more than 115 thousand kWh of electricity per year.
It is worth noting that the station provides electricity to the building of the Uzbekistan GTL company in Tashkent during the daytime. At the same time, it is possible to transfer excess electricity to Regional electrical power networks JSC.
