In order to ensure implementation of Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 4611 dd. February 24, 2020 "On additional measures for transition to International Financial Reporting Standards", Uzbekneftegaz JSC and its compamies, including Uzbekistan GTL LLC carries out systematic works to retrain employees based on IFRS standards.

For instance,  training courses were initiated  over  September to December 2021 for employees of the Accounting and Corporate Reporting Department of Uzbekistan GTL LLC with involvement of Wisdom Advisory, and from September through November 2022  our employees took an online training course, initiated by Mehriddin Abdullayev, the Chairman of the Board of Uzbekneftegaz JSC, with participation of Profi Training Business School specialists.

The training workshops were held in an interactive format and included exchange of views on controversial issues, discussion of specific situations, implementation of practical tasks, thorough preparation for the DipIFR exam, which took place on December 8-9, 2022.

As a result, two employees of the Accounting and Corporate Reporting Department of Uzbekistan GTL LLC - Ibragimov Jahongir and Orziyev Shakhzodbek successfully passed the exam and received a Diploma in International Financial Reporting (DipIFR), which gives them a status of an international expert in International Financial Reporting Standards.

On this occasion, on behalf of Uzbekistan GTL team, we sincerely congratulate Ibragimov Jahongir and Orziev Shakhzodbek on this achievement and wish them great success in their future work.

It is worth pointing out that now Uzbekistan GTL LLC has  four  employees holding ACCA diplomas. In addition to the above-named employees, Sayfullo Khakimov, the Company's Chief Accountant  and Farrukh Valiev, Junior Specialist,  have ACCA diplomas of different levels.
