Employee of Uzbekistan GTL LLC wins Japan's study program sholarship

JICE, the Japanese Center for International Cooperation, which began its activities in Uzbekistan in 1999 and now has been operating in 13 developing countries of the world, in 2022 announced a competition for the  JDS project scholarship for the training program providing opportunity to study at international universities in Japan in 2023 -2025

Along with employees of many ministries, agencies and organizations of our republic, employees of UzbekneftegazJSC’s companies  participated in this scholarship program.

The competition, which ran from August 2022 to March 2023, was held in three qualifying rounds.

At the first stage, candidates passed examinations in Mathematics and English,  as well as submitted the Master's research work  plan for evaluation by university professors.

Candidates who successfully passed a technical interview with professors of Japan’s international universities at the second stage of the competition, participated in a comprehensive examination, conducted by the selection committee at the final stage.

Following the results of the competition, by the decision of the commission of the Japan International Cooperation Center, Baratov Nurbek Umarali ugli, an HR analyst of the Human Resources Management Department, won a scholarship for the Master's Program in Business Administration (MBA) for business environment  in International University of Japan in Niigata, Japan.

Taking this opportunity and noting  his victory in this competition in this year, declared in our country as the Year of Human Care and Quality Education, we wish every success and good luck to Nurbek Baratov, and we are confident that upon completion of the 2 year-training   at International University of Japan, he will apply the acquired knowledge and skills in the future in  implementation of projects aimed at developing the oil and gas industry and further strengthening cooperation between the two countries.

 

For information. The JDS Scholarship Program provides opportunities to stay and study in Japan, as well as full funding for 2 years for  winners of the civil servants’ competition. Under the terms of the program, the winners' positions will be preserved. The winners undertake to work for the industry development for at least 3 years in a previous or more challenging new position after completing their studies in Japan.
