Fakhritdin Kamalov took the position of the Chief Operating Officer in June 2023. He served as a leading specialist in the Synthetic Liquids Production Workshop from 2017 to 2018, and then as the head of the Synthetic Liquids Production Workshop of Uzbekistan GTL from 2018 to 2023. He worked as a junior specialist, shift engineer, and shift supervisor in the Hot Section of the Ethylene Production Workshop from 2013 to 2017, and subsequently as a shift supervisor in the Production Management Department of the Ustyurt Gas Chemical Complex of the Uz-Kor Gas Chemical JV. From 2008 to 2013, he worked as an operator, then as a shift engineer in the Ethylene Production Workshop of the Shurtan Gas Chemical Complex. Under his leadership, the Polypropylene Production Plant of UGCC was successfully put into operation, and produced the first polypropylene in the history of Uzbekistan in 2015.
