Mr. Babaev was appointed as CFO of Uzbekistan GTL in July 2021. In the period from 2017 to 2021 worked as Specialist of the Finance Attracting Department, Head of Planning and Business Development Department and Head of Finance Department of Uzbekistan. From 2009 to 2017 he worked in various positions at the Uzbekistan Fund for Reconstruction and Development (UFRD). Mr. Babaev directly participated in the financing of large investment projects implemented in the chemical and oil and gas industries of Uzbekistan with the participation of UFRD funds.
